RE: Arghhh!!! Bloody PVR's :(

Also, it would be really nice if I could network the two together and have
=
them merge the personal planner section so I could target recordings to
eit=
her box from one interface, and also playback from either box at either
loc=
ation... - Suppose I'd best not hold my breath though... :-(

Hey Keith, - you could always do what I've done, and get TWO Sky+ boxes...
:-)

Sky quite often have an offer on that enables you to buy a Sky+ box
(including fitting) for a measly =A349... then it's another =A310/month
for=
a
multi-room sub... - people constantly complain about the extra, but where
I live that only equates to about 3.5 pints of beer... - and I mostly gave
up going to pubs ages ago, so I've got to spend the money somewhere,
right?... :-)

I've also found, much as you have that upgrading to these newer, and
supposedly "better" technologies very often results in an
inferior
picture!! - in many ways the lovely new HD-ready 32" LCD panel I've
just
installed in the bedroom actually gives me a *worse* image than the 7 year
old el-cheapo Goodmans 28" CRT set that it replaced! - No doubt I will
be
tempted to upgrade this box to a Sky HD box in a few months and hopefully
I will then at last get televisual satisfaction... - does anyone know if,
for instance, the Sky guide pages that the box generates will be enhanced
by the switch to HD?....
