Yes, i agree - being a seasoned home cinema enthusiast i know the=20
limitations of shows....we're going to look at some demo rooms in=20
shops as the prime source, and my father is looking through Home=20
Cinema Choice's archive (my fave HC mag) of installation reviews to=20
see what takes his fancy.
For everyone's info (summarising some of what's been said), the=20
following shows seem to be the likely options this year:
1. Sound & Vision Exhibition =96 Bristol Marriott =96 24-26 Feb -=20
http://www.bristolshow.co.uk
2. Home Renovating and Home Automation Show =96 NEC =96 2-5 Mar -=20
http://www.smarthomeshow.co.uk/v_intro.html
(little HC based on last=20
year)
3. Ideal Home =96 Earl's Court =96 9 Mar-2 Apr -=20
http://www.idealhomeshow.co.uk
4. Cedia Expo =96 ExCeL London =96 20-22 Jun -=20
http://www.cedia.co.uk/cda_expo.php
(trade, mainly HA)
I'm actually considering a trip to the Ideal Hell, sorry Home, Show=20
this year as i've not been for a while and could well imagine this=20
would have some of what we're looking for. I can also pick up a=20
frying pan polisher or whatever else is on special ;-)
