The best one has to be WebGuide 3 (http://asciiexpress.com/webguide).
It
allows remote access to the recording interface, enabling you to change
recordings remotely and even view the recorded content. As I travel a lot,
I
find it really useful!

MyMovies (http://www.mymovies.name)
has been mentioned many times and is a
really god plugin for online and offline cataloguing of DVDs.


On top of these, I've developed a basic plugin to display my 1-wire weather
data via Weather Display Live.


The biggest issue with MCE plugins I've found is the stability of MCE once
you install a third party app. I've tried a lot of different apps, and the
majority adversely affect uptime. WebGuide is stable because it's primarily
uses IIS for the service. Some of the worst offenders seem to be video card
plugins from the like of ATI and NVidia (in my experience).
