RE: [OT] Dell accounts?
Dell don't like the reseller model. Ultimately the NBD service is provided
by the original purchaser, Overclockers in this case, but they may have
purchased the screens without warranty, in which case the level of service
depends on them, not Dell. If they've purchased the screens with Dell NBD
warranty, then in the case of a failure you'd just ring up, log the call,
with you as the end user, and OC as the original purchaser - no big deal.

I think I'm sorted now - Overclockers have come up with a very good price

Dell tried to give me the hard sell and still were =A350 more expensive per
monitor. Their biggest 'scare tactic' was to say that buying through a
thir=
d
party retailer would mean that any warranty issues would take up to 15 days
to get sorted whereas if I bought from them, I'd get next day service!!!
Shocking!!!!
