I use AVG from Grisoft, which is completely free.

Can't comment on its performance on a low spec machine though...

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Antivirus software

Hi All,

Probably been discussed in the past but any recomendation for AntiVirus
software to provide some protection to low spec machines.

I use McAfee on my main machines but I think it will be to resource hungry
for the low spec machines I want to use it on Epia 5000 and Epia 800.

Ideally I would like something that is free or very reasonable as these
machines will not normally be used for email or surfing in the big wide
world but I would like to have some protection on them just in case.

Thanks

Keith
