Well a bit of an update on the router...

My initial diagnosis of my 'Faulty' router was flawed....

The router is in fact still working... Having done a factory reset I was
not able to communicate with it, although I could ping it...

The problem was that my Browsers use a Proxy Server in the network,
which is fine, unless you are trying a direct connection...

Change the setting and all is fine, bugger, just bought a second hand
Vigor replacement which arrived today as well.

As a short term stand in I was using a Belkin... It just couldn't cope
with the demand. I'm only on a 1M connection but I am sure it was
running out of resources...

I have to add my approval of Vigor routers... I have had one for about 5
years which I bought second hand.... Worked flawlessly, until the PSU
failed 6 months ago, then about a month ago the unit itself failed.

Borrowed a Belkin but I have to keep rebooting it...

Just bought another Vigor off of E-Bay....

Noel,

The Draytek Vigors certainly do this, and are very good routers in
our experience. Unfortunately, they're not especially cheap.
