Yep, I'm going to poke it out through a hole in the gable end from the
loft on the north side.

Sounds like I should mount it on the end of a stick of some sort to get
it away from the wall. Perhaps thermal epoxied into the end of a thin
bit of tube (how long though?).

If it's too far out from the wall, won't the reading be affected by wind
chill?
