RE: Adding Speakers to Hi-Fi

yes.

Oh, all right then, - I was tempted to hit send right then & there!...

You could just wire in an additional pair of speakers to the same set of
terminals, - there are impedence matching things you need to be mindful of,
- Keith Doxey will be able to give you instructions for how to wire it up
so that you don't break anything....

Alternatively, you could invest in one of these: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29752&criteria=speaker%20switch&doy=27m1

Which will give the added benefit of being able to turn either (or both)
pairs of speakers off independently. I use one of these for driving my back
garden speakers from my kitchen hifi....

Subject: [ukha_d] Adding Speakers to Hi-Fi

At the moment, I've got a very normal setup - two speakers out the back
of a hi-fi using speaker leads. Sound is also connected from the back
of the TV and is going into 'line-in' on the hi-fi.

However, what I'd like to do is to get another couple of speakers
coming out of the hi-fi (therefore having about 4 speakers connected)
which I can place in the kitchen (next room).

I'm not looking to spend much money. Is there a cheap and simple way to
do this?
