Australia is still very into the idea of protected importers, so its
logical
they will see the same with exports.

Nothing like NZ where parallel imported goods are becoming the norm and
the
resultant plunge in costs of lots of goods that were previously way marked
up by the old-way of doing things with importers, then distributors, then
retailers.

I would say Auz is about 5 years behind on this from NZ and it shows in
the
cost of things over there.

The dealer I used a year ago states they won't deal with the UK on their
website these days.

No one bats an eyelid when we get other stuff from abroad, ala Sonos, and
bypass the UK dealers, but when it comes to thing like CBUS, it all seems
different somehow. Just an observation.
