It is confusing isn't it !

I read that post slightly differently, quoting "Russ" from the
same thread:
"...those channels are not missing, they are used for 3D sound, but I
believe that they are only enabled (as far as FxBus goes) when you
choose a 6.1/7.1 preset in Surrounder, otherwise you have to enable it
manually using kX Console (shw 20 1)."

However, I'm struggling a bit with the complexity of it all ATM so who
knows what the real story is ;-)

I think I need to get a card and have a play with this...
