Re: RS-232 max cable length
This will really depend on the baud rate.
If you can accept a slow baud rate of 300, then you
can have quite long distances of several hundred feet.
If you need longer then simply buy a couple of RS232 to
RS422/RS485 modules and run a balanced cable. This
can then be much longer length with higher baud rates.
