Simon,
I would avoid Dynamic disks unless you are doing it to create a mirror -
this allows software mirroring as well as striped or exteded disks.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Windows XP Dynamic Disks

Does anyone on here have any recommendations as to whether dynamic disks
are
a good idea in WinXP?

I have a media server with 3x250Gb disks in it, and was considering
changing
them to dynamic, so they appear as one drive

Are there any potential pitfalls with dynamic disks? I assume if one fails
it doesnt take the others with it..?

Thanks

Simon
