Adrian,

Thanks for the pointer. Everything seems to check out, I have the
right registry keys etc. and I can also open links in new windows e.g.
from a Google search by right-clicking and selecting "Open in New
Window" so it's not a universal problem with my PC. I think it must be
my coding, but I just can't see where :-(
