Re: Automated Gates?

Mark,

This is what I put in from house to gates:
a.. 240V Gate system supply (24V motors with battery backup)
b.. 240V Gate post lighting
c.. 240V Architectural lighting
d.. 240V general power
e.. LV control for gate system - open close etc...
f.. Comfort intercom with CCTV camera
g.. Additional CCTV camera
h.. Bewator gate key pad wiring (goes back to HV and then to controller to
prevent tampering when away)
i.. Vehicle detector
j.. Tamper circuits on keypad and gate controller back to Comfort
k.. IR beam break across gate entrance for HV and CCTV system (tested a PIR
but too many false triggers)

Then from gate area back to Gate controller:
a.. 2 No. IR beam breaks for gate control/safety
b.. Gate motor wiring
c.. Antenna for RF gate control
d.. LED warning lights for gate opening/closing

Regards

Simon

Anyone here with automated gates like to tell me how many cables you needed
for power, switching, RF Rx, Keypads, CCTV etc?

Thanks

M.
