Fw: Sinking KAT5 into wall behind plasma
- Subject: Fw: Sinking KAT5 into wall behind plasma

KAT5 dimensions are 95mm Wide x 35mm High x 155mm Deep.
And I have no intention of any sockets or anything showing - screen only -
nothing else :-) Might have to invest in CAT5 sockets that angle tho -
rather than directly face outwards so it doesnt get cramped.
I can't see a problem in lifting the plasma off the mount if I have to get
to the KAT5, or CAT5, or power, etc. The wall is the chimney so I cant go
too mad behind there.

Don't know what the dimensions of the KAT5 unit is, but you could make a
cavity big enough for it, take the back out of a metal back box and attach
that in the appropriate position at the front of the wall, use a nice
front, maybe the clipsal 6 way things, then you'd have the right
presentation at the wall and can still get to the KAT5 unit behind it...
depends how much space you have i guess...
