Mark,

It looks as if your company policy is no and that is the way it will be.

I suppose they will not allow you to install you sync s/w on your work
PC?

This is probably because they don't want to support it... You need to
chat up your IT department to allow you to install your sync s/w at
work...

OWA are just web pages created on the fly from the exchange server
database so it would be difficult to write anything to sync to it ( I
won't say impossible). If they use Exchange 2003 you could sync MS
mobile products directly with the server but I doubt they will allow
that either.

Why not do a backup of your outlook at work to a CD and load on a home
machine that has the sync s/w installed. OK if you just want to sync
contact info as it doesn't change as fast as e-mail....

Nigel

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Microsoft Outlook Web Access

I'm pleased to say that my work is slowly making it in to the 21st
Century and has managed to setup Microsoft Outlook Web Access. This
allows me to be able to occasionally work from home i.e. checking work
email, sorting calenders and folders etc.

However, I've got a Sony Ericsson K750i mobile phone and would love to
be able to synchronise things like contacts and calenders from Outlook
Web Access to my phone. Unfortunately they won't let us do this on the
computers at work.

Does anyone know whether this is possible and how to do it? I've tried
using the Sony Ericsson mobile synch. software but it will only synch
with Outlook on my home computer not Outlook Web Access.

Thanks!
