centrally located amp

Chaps,

Just a quick question really, if I've got an av amp located in the kit room
(about 30' of cable distance away) and a local dvd player, do you think
there would be a noticeable delay / sync in the audio?

Do many people keep a dvd player locally? - I thought it would be nice to
have this if say, a friend comes over with a film to watch, rather than
having to go over to the node0 you can just use the local source.. And if
you do, do you have local amp as well?

Regards,

Jonathan.
