Andy,

Sorry can't help but also have an XDA Exec and waiting to upgrade from
Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 so your experience would be invaluable...

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT]O2 XDA EXEC Exchange Active Sync

I just got one of these devices, and remember a thread on here a while
back about them, so I am hoping someone here has had some success with
one.

It is a great little piece of kit, but I am having difficulties setting
up Active Sync to the exchange server.

Basically keep getting an SSL certificate error on the XDA

I can browse to the secure OWA page using Internet Explorer on the XDA,
but as soon as I try and use active sync, it throws out this invalid
certificate error.

The certificate is just a self issued one, with my Exchange server also
being a stand alone certificate authority, and having issued a
certificate to itself.

All the Googling I have done seems to point to having to buy a 'proper'
SSL certificate, but that seems overkill for a small domestic email set
up. Any of you guys got one of these things working?

Andy
