... has been returned to Amber's Bedroom.

Just ripped out the LW11 and fitted a standard light switch !!!!

The LW11 is possessed by the devil.
Recently her bedroom light would be ON when we expected it to be OFF eg the
middle of the night.

Because I am in the process of decorating the room her MiniTimer has been
unplugged on several occasions and at first I thought that she had set up a
timed event whilst setting the clock. (This happened on a previous
occasion).

Examination of HomeVisions log file did not show any A1 events being
received from the MiniTimer but HomeVision could control the light OK.

I have previously had problems where the MiniTimer signal wasnt strong
enough to be detected by HV but would control the light so I still
suspected
the timer.

I then removed the timer from the room.... the light still kept coming on
at
strange times, nothing in HV log, HV could control it.

I did notice that some of the Macro names in the log were spelt incorrectly
so assumed that HV may have a corrupted program so reloaded it from the
schedule.

Last night.... the light came on again !!!!

Apart from HV, the only other X10 controllers connected were a Minitimer in
my room set to "B" which HV detected OK and the IR543 in the
lounge which is
controlling housecode "L".

Still nothing in the log.

Decided to change the setting on the LW11, from A1 to E5. Cant control it
at
all now but still works using the button. Oh well, will deal with it later
as I had to go out.

Turn light off.

Get home.... BLOODY LIGHT IS ON AGAIN !!!!!!!

Goodbye X10 wallswitch.... hello MK wallswitch.

When its 0n its On .... an when its Off its Off :)

AAARRRGGGHHH !!!!

Keith
