No problems.

The best sensor for wooden floors is a stress sensor rather than a pressure
sensor. Of course if you are running then you may jump over this so not
perfect. The mort practical is a beam break as these are available from
Maplins etc. The LED's can be mounted remotely from the supplied PCB which
makes fitting a little easier. Knee height or a little higher is best.

Speed of activation is important in an application like this for what it is
worth.

I'm a definate. Been thinking about how to do this for some time. The
choice of sensor is quite important as the pressure mats ideally under
my wooden floor - but if they go faulty won't be easy to replace. Some
kind of proximity/beam for me is more practical.
