If you don't know what your lan/lon is go to google maps, find your
location using the mouse and zoom features - Hint: is google haven't mapped
your region with roads etc, try switching to Satellite view - most of the
world seems
to at least have some sat coverage on the map...
Make sure the map is centered on your location and then click "Link
to this
page"
(usually in the top right of the map in the orangy bar) - this will load
another
page - look at the address bar of your browser and the url will be
something
like
http://maps.google.com/
followed by some 'gibberish'
?ll=37.996163,-98.173828&spn=37.665497,71.191406
the part you want is the ll= to the next & (ll being lower case LL -
for
Lat / Lon :) ).
So in the example above you'd end up with:
37.996163,-98.173828
The first number is the latitude the second is the longitude...
