I know this isn't totally (or hardly) home automation related but I
hoped someone might be able to help.

Am currently decorating our hall - moved in during December and am
slowly getting around the house.

Unfortunately the ceiling is very yellowy coloured - partly because
the people previously smoked and also because they had (horrible)
wallpaper on the walls (when we stripped off the wallpaper we used a
steamer and the steam, a nice yellowy colour, found itself on the
ceiling!)

Anyway, 2 layers of white matt emulsion later and it doesn't seem to
be getting any better. Does anyone have any useful tips - can you get
specialist ceiling paint??

Thanks - sorry about the bizarre query!!
