I think the only way of knowing is to either ring customer services and
ask, or go to "your account" on the tmobile website and chack
under
additional services. If it doesn't show anything then you haven't got
it.

I don't think you can. Its all just 3G,  I suppose it's a bit like
asking what speed your broadband is by looking at the screen... could be
1meg or 8meg... its all broadband.

How can you tell when you are on the HSDPA 384k Uplink???

At the moment when I am connected it just shows either G for GPRS or 3G.

How can you tell on screen whether I am connected at the HSDPA speed?

Also does anyone know a way of making the scroll wheel control the
slider
bar? Rather then jumping through the text on a web page looking for
hyper
links? So I can actually get some smoothing scrolling action?
