Did you get the official cable? Or is it a copy? Some people say they
have had issues with non M$ cables.
But agreed...it looks fab!!

After a bit of messing about I got my bedroom xbox changed to NTSC last
night and then enabled the 720p HD output through the component lead I got
off eBay into my new LCD telly.

Holy crap - I'm blown away! It looks amazing. From what I read it
up-converts DVDs to 720p better than even some of the more expensive stand
alone DVD players. Add to that the convenience of playing them from ISOs
(and menus have been working for a long time now too) and you really do
have
a DIY Kaleidescape system for next to nothing!
