Can you not just set the video mode in the dashboard?



Just picked up another XBOX courtesy of Argos... that's now 3 in our
house (living room, master bedroom and Zac's room) :-)

One chipped with Executer chip the other ones softmodded with SID4.5.



Excellent Media player using XBMC... even plays back stuff directly off
the TiVo !

I'm completely new to XBOX, but have managed to pick up one of the
Argos offer boxes with the aim of getting XBMC running. Your post at
the start of this thread was what finally persuaded me :-), as I'm
looking for a solution that will allow me to play ripped DVDs (files,
not ISOs) from my server on my HD Panny plasma.

I've got hold of the XBMC code, but I couldn't find the NTSC app you
mentioned - can you pl point me at it?

I've seen the link to the cable reqd and will order one of those.
Anything else I need?
