Just to answer my own post:

It flies! BootCamp is very simple to install once you updated OS-X with
the latest patches and firmware updates. It creates a Windows Driver CD
and off you go.

My new 15" Mac Book Pro now dual boots OS-X and XP Pro like a dream.
Sexy looks, sleek design, fast as hell (2ghz core duo, 1gig RAM), great
screen...............

...................can you feel the BUT yet......................

BUT..........................It runs as HOT as HELL (In OS-X and XP).
Temperature monitor was recording between 63 and 70c today just with
surfing and reading mail. But the whole thing being of a metal (Alloy?)
construction heats up, even the keyboard! I am fairly convinced it would
burn a real wood desk/table. Even Apple have said "don't put it on
your
lap"!
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=30612

So its back to square one again. So if anyone knows of a midsized
(15.4"
wide is ideal) good specification laptop that doesn't set fire to your
furniture or cause your skin to drop off let me know!

TTFN

Rob
