(OT) Any SUN Server Gurus?

Hi, Having major problems with a sunfire server. The machine powers up
but does not allow anyone to login on any account. it just hangs after the
username and password is entered.

Any ideas how I can get access to machine? is there any work arounds?

Cant seem to connect using the serial console.

Any help very much appreciated.
