RE: network storage

If raid is not an issue why not look at the Buffalo Linkstation, it's
simple
to set up and works well. I've been using mine for more than 4 months now
for audio/video storage, I'm going to be picking up some Sonos kit soon so
it will become the music store for the system. The Pro version adds gigabit
Ethernet as well.

Subject: [ukha_d] network storage

I am looking at buying a hard drive to go on my network.

If I could afford it I would buy the Buffalo Terrastation but
it is currently out of my budget.

I have seen the Western Digital Netcenter series of drives
ranging from 160Gb up to 500 Gb. Does anyone have any
experience of these devices?

I had seen the Netgear SC101, but the reviews are very mixed
and I know some people here have had issues with them.

Are there any other devices that people would recommend?

Thanks
Geoff
