Yes, so long as you don't implement split routing on your PC, all
traffic goes via the VPN connection.

I use this when connected via my O2 mobile, as O2 seems to have some
kind of hideously broken transparent http proxy - it's infinitely
quicker to bounce http off my home DSL...
