If they're going to be distributed anyway, let's put together a place where
unwanted ones can be donated :-)
Based on recent messages, Am sure a number of us could use some free
power-meters!
I agree, it would be better that the resource/energy not be wasted in the
first place, but if it does happen, let's make the most of it!

I wonder how much energy will be wasted manufacturing and shipping
~25 million of these unrecyclable gadgets, most of which will be
thrown away (landfill).
More importantly, how much more of our money are they going to waste
before they get kicked out...
