Some interesting points ... especially re: touch-screens (they seem
to be quite a selling point, to judge by some of the stands at past
SmartHome shows) .... and the need for feedback, in its various
guises, in-chair & out, in the light & in the dark ... maybe I had
come to take it for granted, but it was a surprise to read that the
fancier remote's don't have it ... not having proper feedback was an
X-10 thing, wasn't it ? ! ?   'must say, I think a smart-'phone could
be the thing ... people have them with them perhaps most of the time,
so why not make use of that ... 'though there's some work to do on
the interface ('quite like my 'E61, but it's difficult to believe the
operating system isn't a mid-way development version - how long's
Symbian been about ?)
