Dean,
The most practical way to do it would be to have a single run of armoured
cable passing all the fittings - at each location break the armoured and
fit
either a plastic 100x100x50 adaptable box (Mita part No. 101005) or a
galvanised 20mm T Box with suitable lid and gasket. You would have to
terminate the armoured twice at each location with a CW20S gland and
shroud,
so yes a bit of work - from the box then feed each fitting with a short
length of flex and enter the box with a 20mm Stuffing gland.
I assuming none of the boxes are being burried - if so better rated IP
boxes
would be required - try Pratley as they do a range of submersible/buriable
boxes.
Alternatively if you want to bury them buy not worry about taking them
apart
aftward you could fill the boxes with cable joint resin which makes a
lovely
permanent joint.
All above obviously carried out by a Part P electrician etc. etc. :)
Any of advice required just ask.
Regards
Dean.

Subject: [ukha_d] Patio Lighting / Cabling
I've struggled to find any decent info on the Web for this, so hoping
people
can offer their thoughts.
If was considering installing some 230V lights into the edging of a patio
(e.g. http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TLW50GU.html
) whats the correct
way to cable them ?
All the regs seem to say it has to be SWA - but daisy chaining a number of
those fittings with properly terminated SWA sounds like a nightmare.
Would "hi-tuf" (
<http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Cable_Index/Hi-Tuf/index.html>
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_Index/Cable_Index/Hi-Tuf/index.html)
or
similar be sufficient ?
The intention would be to run SWA from the main CU to a weatherproof box in
a discrete corner with RCD+LD11/AD10 inside - then run cables from there to
the lighting.
