RE: [OT] Looking to borrow a spdif coax cable

any phono to phono lead will do the trick.

I run SPDIF over coax from my Xbox over a regular phono lead, through about
8 metres of SCART cable (using one of the video cores) then through a
Video/CAT5 Balun (again using the Video input) across 4 metres of CAT5,
through another Balun then across another regular phono lead to my AV Amp..

and enjoy absolutely delicious DTS at the far end.

I have tried comparing this to a monster cable direct between the two...
and
there was no difference whatsoever - couldn't tell them apart.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Looking to borrow a spdif coax cable

I need to copy something from minidisc to a PC, unfortunately I'm getting
too much noise via line in but can't find my spdif coax cable.

Has anyone got one they could lend me?

Cheers

Andy
