RE: [OT] Way OT - A little poseur

I have some in my bedroom and conservatory. They are for connecting
lights
to, well that's what I put them in for. They run off the lighting circuit
not the ring main.

Cheers

Jonathan

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Way OT - A little poseur

Just come back from a cottage in the lakes - newly refurbished, everything
very nice, but in the lounge, as well as 3 x 2 gang standard electrical
sockets it also had 2 x 1 gang faceplates for round pinned (3 pin) sockets
-
Why? Why would you wire in a few round pin sockets? They were only in the
living room - not elsewhere?

Why? It has been driving me crazy.

Any therapeutical suggestions welcomed.

Tim.
