Nahhhhh!

The ones I've seen at maplin have sockets for thw ATX mobo connector but
also for floppy, hard disc and P4 type connectors as well so should be able
to test the lot...

They only test the rails going to the motherboard, the 12v for the drives

to do with the maximum wattage you can have on a rail in the atx spec or
something. I had to do some rewiring on one of my cases to take the unused
pci-e connector and butcher it into some molexes so that some of the drives
were on a different rail so it would spin up every time.

Might be worth getting an ATX Psu tester. Maplin do them I think.

As for where you stand on the drives..... If it was the Belkin surge=20
protector, do they come with =A320,000 of insurance cover ? Did you buy=20
all the components from the same place ?

You may find it a tough job to prove that the PSU was at fault, then=20
to prove that it killed 7 HDD drives, you may find it takes a while.
