Re: [OT] ish - Remote keyboard/mouse s/w?

Glad you found something :)

For others:
I do this from a linux destop using a couple of apps called:
x2vnc
and
x2x

The effect is that you have say, 3 screens for 3 machines, side by side:

WinXP Laptop : Linux : Mac

there is one mouse and keyboard and you use the mouse to focus the keyboard
onto
each screen.
WinXP runs VNC
Mac runs X and has xhost +
Linux runs "x2vnc --west WinXP:0" and "x2x --east
Mac:0.0"

They work by having an invisible 1 pixel wide window at 1 or more screen
edges.
When you move your mouse to the left it takes your mouse movements (and
keypresses) and sends them via VNC or X to the screen to your left.

Because there is no redisplay it's just like a KVM.

It's quite spooky just how integrated they are - especially 'cos
cut'n'paste
works...

Davi
PS Mac for example. I assume it uses X.
