Re: Geovision Query
Paul,
Could you change the colour depth to 16 bit to help with your bandwidth
issues???
Just a thought.

Simon

Subject: [ukha_d] Geovision Query
Question for Geovision users on the list...
Has anyone found a method to reliably make the GV system software start
up minimised? - it does *not* (for me anyway) obey the
"minimized"
setting on the run command set on the shortcut that starts it up,
meaning that whenever it starts up it is full-screen. - This is a PITA
when I connect to the server remotely on a VPN. - my broadband upstream
speed is only (IIRC 256K), so the RDP session takes a fair while to draw
the screen (and yes, I already tune the RDP settings down as much as
possible!)
Also, there appears to be bugs in the RDP client in Vista that causes
running windows to become maximised again in certain circumstances
(happens a lot when my connection drops suddenly, and I reconnect), so
I'd really like a means of making sure that once minimised it jolly well
*stays* that way! - anyone got any suggestions?
TIA
Paul G.
