RE: CID and how to drop call

Do it properly and install asterisk, opens up possibilities of having
them
endure loud distorted hold music for an indeterminate length of time before
being told its outside office hours and hanging up on them.

And it can tell the people that hide their number when calling what they
can
do with themselves.

Subject: [ukha_d] CID and how to drop call

Hi

probably a question for Keith D, my phone is wired initially through
comfort alarm and then off to phones around the house. Inline with going
to comfort is a CID unit which reports off to a PC via serial port.

What i'd like to do is if a specific number rings, the call gets hung
up/dropped ASAP, i figure i could wired in some relays on the line
somehow to achieve this and if the number matches, activate the relays,
is this possible

Adrian
