CCTV DVR's - Any recomendations ??

In the latest CPC flyer (must be the 1654th one they've sent me
this=20
year!) they had a 4 channel CCTV DVR for a reasonable price - I think=20
it was ~=A3300 - =A3400. Just tried to look it up on their website but=20
couldn't find it, which is not unusual for CPC :-)
Anyway, it got me thinking about replacing my Geovision based server=20
with a standalone DVR. One less server to worry about.
Just curious if anyones using a stand alone DVR and how they find=20
them - I'd be looking for one with 4-6 camera, motion detecting,=20
remote access and the ability to (at the very least) embed a live feed=20
into a webpage without using any proprietry front end etc.
Any recommendations ?
