I used one for a short while without any real noticable drops in
quality. One watch out I found was that if one of the devices on the
splitter was physically disconnected, the other display displayed
all the symptoms (Screen banding,flicker,jaggies) of a failing
graphics card. I know this 'cause I spent a happy couple of hours
scratching my head and swapping cards :-)

Only used while waiting for a dual head card to arrive.
