I have now heard back from PRLLC and they say I can support you i.e.
provide
the original source if you want it. They now only sell the Mega128-Net in
25+ quantities so buying the hardware and thereby getting the software is
not feasible for an individual.

I would say though that it is designed to work with their hardware which
is:
Mega 128, 32k external RAM, latch, realtek RTL8019AS Ethernet chip etc.
Magnetics etc. are your choice. I can send you my schematics etc. if it
helps.

As it stands it works but there are some 'features' you may not like. I can
detail these as far as I have found and corrected them. The biggest
omission
is support for sockets on the TCP side and very limited web server support.
I am adding this now but it is still very beta at the moment.
