[OT] Best EXIF Editor

Hi,

What does everyone use for digital photo management? I need to do
something to organise the 10K photos I have here! Looking back through
some of them, it would appear that one of my early cameras was playing
up, and some of the EXIF data is missing or incorrect. I'm keen to sort
out the 'date taken' info in particular.

So, I'm after a good EXIF editor that allows editing of JPEG EXIF tags.
Ideally with a batch capability. A mandatory requirement is that the
editor does not impact the quality of the actual photo in any way. And
obviously it has to be free :-) Any gotchas that anyone has come across
with these kind of tools?

Google bring up loads of options - so the problem is seeing the wood
from the trees...

What I have in mind is the JPEG equivalent of MP3 Tag Studio...

Thanks
Mark
