With my GeForce MX5700 Ultra I had to write a config file to get the
correct resolution. Running it at anything else is a total waste of
rations. My screen (Phillips) also came with a great utility for setting
up and checking the display (FPAdjust) well worth tracking down - Or let me
know and I'll email it/FTP it to you
