I did a Sonos install using 85Mbps HomePlug adaptors from Solwise.

Three floor house with the router on the ground floor and the PC/ZP100 on
the top floor - connected these by Homeplug and works absolutely
brilliantly
!!

Wireless range seems so bizarre at times - this one has two further ZP100's
on the ground floor and these works wirelessly together with the top floor
one and controller no problem...

Though going right the other way, we did a 6 zone Sonos install, and with
two ZP80's vertically 8ft apart and horizontally 6ft apart, absolutely no
signal at all through a concrete floor :) - moving them so they were about
4ft horizontally and we got just enough signal. Customer now has a spare
ZP80 under their Bed :)

For anyone else reading who's interested in Sonos - have being controlling
our demo units with a NevoSL remote using its PnP functionality - seems to
work not to bad, so now have a TV controller doing Sonos too :)

Will be doing some specials on the NevoSL as we have just been registered
installers/resellers.

Subject: [ukha_d] Need advice: connecting sonos zone player through mains
lan adaptor

I need to install a zone-player in a room which has no cat5 point. Most of
the house is wired, but not this room. I have tried to get it working
wirelessly, and it won't!! Even though the other wired player is 40 ft down
the corridor!
I was wondering if all attempts at wireless connection fail, does anyone
know if I can use a pair of those mains-plug lan adaptors to connect it to
my ethernet hub? Like along piece of cat5 :-) If yes.. then which is the
best/right one to buy?
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thank you.
