The RFXCOM USB X10/Oregon/KlikOn-KlikOff/Domia Light receiver is
able=20
to receive the Electrisave RF data. www.rfxcom.com=20
Some explination on the Electrisave versus the RFXPower:
The Electrisave measures the current of up to 3 phases. Using the=20
RFXCOM receiver the received data can be logged to the PC and the=20
data can be used to create graphs of the power usage.
In the standard Electrisave configuration the measured current will=20
transmitted to a display unit where the current (ampere) value is=20
multiplied by a fixed voltage parameter. It displays then the power=20
usage for that single moment. But the displayed power value is not=20
very accurate because the voltage is a fixed parameter in the display=20
unit while the real line voltage fluctuates a lot. So it is not a=20
real power usage meter but in fact an Ampere meter.
The RFXPower measures the real power of 1 phase by multiplying the=20
measured current times the measured voltage. The internal kWh counter=20
in the RFXPower unit is increment for each use of 10Watt and is=20
therefore comparable with the utility meter.
Connoleg has written software to show the power usage in Homeseer:=20
