Kevin,

Thanks for the help.

You were right about the network interfaces... there is an un-used ATM
card which although disconnected was not disabled so it was picking that
IP address...

Disabled ATM port and reinstalled Switchboard and all is fine.

As you say it's a great app, just as is xAPTel, just wish I could read
up on it a bit more.

Thanks

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Best place to start I'm sure would be the xAP Automation Group ..

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xap_automation

I have seen a similar post there too a while back re the DLL issue sand
I had a similar issue but worked around it using an older installer and
then overwriting with newer files. But I think James has it all fixed
now.

Re the docs - there are some on the mi4 site but probably not of any
help in resolving the problem. The fact you see a different IP tells me
you might have two network interfaces active in you PC - if so it is
possible that SB is picking up the wrong one as its default. Again in
the settings you can alter this and force it to bind to a specific card.

There are posts re this on xAP Auto also if you holler there I'm sure J
can jump in with any install issues. It's worth getting it running as
it's a great application - I use it 24/7

Kevin

PS Glad the xAPTel bit works ;-)
