RE: XBox advanced scart cable broken

Cant give a definate answer but....

Pin 20 is video In also used for the sync.

Pin 18 is a ground pin.

Several pins are defined as ground so it should work without pin 18
connected.

Plug the lead back into the TV and try each of the two wires on Pin 20, you
wont do any damage to either TV or Xbox and when you find the right one it
should give you a picture.

Subject: [ukha_d] XBox advanced scart cable broken

Moved house at the weekend and managed to break the Xbox RGB cable when
disconnecting it from the screen (not the most popular dad at the
moment!) - the scart shell came away snagging the cable and pulling off
2 of the wires. One wire is black and the other is white and both are on
the
LHS of the scart connector looking from the back of the screen when
connected. They look like they came from pins 20 & 18 based on the
solder
remnants. Can anyone *carefully* check which pins these are meant to be
connected to so I can resolder them and restore peace & harmony to the
new
home!
