I have had my servers in the garage for a while now....no problems
Seeing as most of my kit whacks loads of heat anyway :)

Not sure about your external disk array with the disk spinning?..mine is
nice and toasty house within the server case ;-)

I am in the final stages of deciding where to locate my Mac Mini based

server. the best and most out of the way place would be the garage

where I have a small cabinet with patching in etc but this is single

skin and unheated.



Has anyone had issues locating a server and HD array in this sort of

environment. I am sure it is outside the normal operating specs but

may work OK.



Any ideas?
