I got a Tranquil T2 a few weeks ago and it's great - i'd been running
WHS
for about 6 months before on an old Dell desktop. The T2 is silent,
though
gets a little warm in my rack. It's plenty fast enough though.

Pretty much the same apps here, plus girder if it will run on it.

I'm going to buy the Tranquil T2 though I think rather than a home build
this time.

Hoping to be giving this a try myself in the very near future ... have a
Coolermaster case, three 4-in-3 hotswap drive cages (when they
eventually
turn up), 5 x 1Tb drives (more needed unfortunately) and a 2.53GHz P4
mobo
to run it all on...

Hoping to run SlimServer, HomeVisionXL and maybe HomeGate web server on
it
too...
