RE: Faceplates
Might also be worth taking a look at the Aldous website. They have a
range
of custom modules to fit standard euro-module type plates (the kind often
used for Cat5e) so you can quickly make up faceplates to suit by matching a
frame with the required modules. They also have the benefit of using screw
terminals for F-types, speaker, phono etc which means no soldering.

I've also done this, but I was trying to reduce the workload what with
this not even being for me!
